Turbo inlet size, any one know what it is??

Little bit less, about 53mm.
Could be 2 3/32 or 2 1/8 in ye olde English

Silicone hoses I bought for my 200 TDI were 51mm.

My engine is out at the moment, so I measured it for you. That's an pretty accurate measurement for 300TDi. The side wall of the inlet was about 4mm. Gives an ID of the hose of 51mm. That matches Spook.

Bloody hope so, I've been driving around with them on for over a year!
Must be airtight as the turbo pulls nice and strong with no whistle.

Just measured the o/d of my 200 and it's 60mm so I need 60mm i/d pipe to fit over it
Just need the 300 size o/d now

it's oily and crusty and i had to use a ruler, so expect a couple mm out!

Sorry Wolf, I did the maths wrong there I think. The ID of my 300TDi inlet is 53mm. The side wall is approx 4-5mm each side. That would give a hose ID of 61-63mm

do you also have a new/separate intercooler?
i'm thinking yours is a 60mm upgrade kit, not orig. like Land Rover 300tdi uprated Intercooler - manifold induction kit 60mm defender red | eBay
