My N reg defender 110 recently had an MOT. It came back with a clunk.
It is only when I am decelerating (below about 10 MPH)
The cluck is related to the speed of the vehicle and it seems to be coming from the back.

A clunk or a cluck? Is it anything to do with changing gear and taking your foot off the clutch? could be a bit of drivetrain slack.

Also the rear A frame ball joint, jut did mine and stopped a pull away clunk.
Can also be caused by worn UJ joints on props as they can clunk on deceleration and acceleration ...oh and welcome :)

It just does it when decelerating, never when accelerating. it's nothing to do with clutch or changing gear. Not the drive train slack you hear when you change gear etc.
It suddenly started when it came back after the MOT. I wonder if they levered something?
Any suggestions
