transfer box bearing

hi
would any one here have an idea on where i could find a new bearing for the rear out put shaft on the tranfer box for my s2A lightweight.
or do i have to bite the bulet and get the whole kaboodle

oh and whilst im here is there and way of removing the free play in my steering box.
 
try paddocks or craddock fer yer bearing.. or get the number off the outer race and take it to any bearing supplier

you can take up free play in yer box by means of the screw on the side of it.. slacken the lock nut and the turn the screw. am not sure on the exact procedure for it but i think you have to have the steering in a central position before you start. if i ever find where me son hide me book i'll post the correct method.
 
I put new seals in my 90 from one of the commoner Landy suppliers. Both seals failed within weeks so I got some from a bearing supplier and there still ok now. They were £6.36 +VAT a pair.
