hmmm

seemed to reach new lows, counted less than 200 landrovers out, so no
record this year..... Lots of jap things though.....

One food stall, which at 1pm had a 1 hour queue for E.Coli burgers

chuffing freezing, elsie spacker as father calls it worked serious
overtime. I have a lot of draughts to locate as well....

Apart from a certain 101 owner turning up on Saturday for a couple of
hours to talk about petrol propane butane diesel, I was the only
101....

see a few familiar faces, and meet a few new ones!

Hmmm, the turnout might be a reflection on the proliferation of Land
Rover events in the UK right now. Towcester didn't appeal much, a
procession is too much like the daily commute! I'd rather go laning!

I fitted a new seal to the top of Mrs D's door frame before we went
laning....it hadn't got one before and she never complained. Once the new
seal was fitted she was then getting a cold draught from the lower
seal...guess the upper one was much thicker....Doh! I think I'll be fitting
90 style seals or whaever I can rob at the breakers yard given the price of
90 door seals... I guess it would nees at least 1 chop anyway.

As for our laning it was super but I now have a great dislike of 5 bar gates
as every time we got to one it seemed it was going to p**s down.

I considered the procession but it just doesn't seem appealing and I've not
seen any info about it anywhere so didn't know there would be any sort of
organisation or stands as such.
