Yes when I undo the plug and fill it to it dribbles out I've no leaks

You are not confusing the transfer box filler with the autobox by any chance?

I think your right I thought there were plates inside that could be rattling and when the oil is warmer not so much .

The lock up clutch is inside the torque convertor.

Well I have lived with it this long no changes thought it would get worse but it hasn't as soon as I get a Sign of brown oil I will have it out tbo been waiting for it to get worse slip contaminate then get a refurb but its not got any worse yet . Just have to wait and see I guess
