I really enjoyed this series & as a person he was fallible as we all are.

If anything it was too short.

Got it on DVD for christmas. Absolutely brilliant. Compelling watching I
thought. As you said, wanted to be atleast half as long again as it did seem
to skip quite large parts of the journey.
