Gave up trying to sort out the horrific whining on my P38 and dropped it in to Kingsley Cross Country where they very quicky diagnosed a front wheel bearing and a knackered pinion bearing along with various worn bushes and other problems - an excellent diagnostic - picking up some things totally unrelated to the original problem.
Concentrating on the front axle problems they very quickly located a complete 2nd hand low mileage axle, obtained it and fitted it.
I can't believe the difference it's made - it feels like a new car!
Anyway just wanted to let people know. Kingsley are enthusiastic, very helpful and quick! I would certainly recommend them.
