To buy or not to buy?

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and new to Landrover, Although many years ago I did work on the Landrover audit at Gaydon and was lucky enough to be invited on to the test track!!

Looking for some advice, i've fallen into the trap everybody does and googled Freeland 1 and found some horror stories so thought i'd join a forum with real owners...

I'm looking at buying a 2006 Freelander freestyle TD 2.0 automatic! Its got 47,000 miles had 3 owners from new and comes with leather interior, tow bar, 17" alloy wheels,6 cd player, heated seats, air conditioning and electric seats... price wise its about 6500 but i'll be able to do a deal...

Is it worth it? Any suggestions on what I should look out for ie known problem areas etc?
