I just came accross these pics of my old beauty Black betty..
and i remembered how mind numbingly loud she was; with her being 1989 TD..
I had some old Horse stable matting in the yard and cut it to shape and banged it in the footwells, the rear tub and under the 3 seats in the front. And by god it made difference!
It was abit mucky like but after a good scrub up, it worked a treat, its really light too if you get the foam/rubber stuff.. and just good as duel purpose matting for muddy boots and tools and keeps the noise down bril..
The reason i tell ya this is, why bother with the expensive precut stuff when you can just pop along to any stable yard and they'l have loads of this stuff lying about, (i know if its anything like ours they will!)
Could even fit it in the doorcards etc...
Doesn't look too bad either!
