Whilst taking out the shim on my aircon i decided to have a good look round the engine as it still uses
too much water for the o ring problem i have.

The heater feed hose from the inlet manifold has a leak, it's dripping into one of the formed valleys &
boiling off due to the intenst heat, so no drips on the floor etc!!!#

YESSSSSSSS!!!!! no new engine required (yet!!)

It was just out the corner of my eye i noticed it, when i looked properly at it the thing was so obvious
it was untrue!!

I can't work out if it's the pipe or the union adapter into the inlet manifold. Might as well buy both &
some PTFE tape i suppose!!!

I feel right smug now, until summat else breaks that is..............

Cheers

Nice one, this place is royally ****ed. Where you off matey?

This hole is a crime ridden ****pit of monolithic proportions, populated by scumbag loving do-gooders & a
Police force that can barely cope. We have two choices, defend or surrender.

Hateful really.

Where just about every other Brit who isn't living on benefits
is leaving for - France!

Had a place there for years, but selling up here now and buying
somewhere bigger over there - for about 1/10th of the price it
would be here! - so we've leaving a small house here with a huge
mortgage and getting a huge house with no mortgage! When you put
that together with the "****pit" (as you so eloquently put it!) of
a country we live in, it is difficult to resist!

Not sure I would have put it quite as well as that, but yes, I agree!!!

It's not the Police forces fault, it's the criminals fault!!! I have had enough of seeing the place go to
waste.

I'm just buying a house and as the bills pile up i'm just starting to
wonder how i'm actually supposed to afford to pay for everything and
still have something left to enjoy myself with, and wondering if it is
any different anywere else?

Was speaking to some friends of a friend the other day. They were
living together with their young son and having real trouble living on
what one of them could earn.
They have worked out that they will be much better off and he wont
have to work all the hours of the day to live if they split up and
live seperately and she claims benefits.
There seems something wrong with that to me.

and to keep this thread on topic, god doesnt like me as the car which
i have spent 2 years rebuilding wont bloody run right!. grr!.

Absolutely - bizzare isn't it. There are so many examples. My sister
and her husband both work, struggle to pay the bills with 2 kids
and have a knackered old Micra. One of her friends is a single parent,
kept refusing council houses until they have her a big one near to her
mum, claims ££££ in benefits and drives a brand new Clio. Another
of her "friends" bought her council house (worth £130k+) for
£50-something thou. and then complained because she didn't receive
the full discount!

I know a single parent with 4 kids who is getting the equivalent of
over £30k in benefits, not to mention free housing, no council tax
and all the other handouts they get. You can't blame them really,
there is absolutely no inventive to go to work other than personal
pride - something sadly lacking now-a-days.

All the talk of "poverty" ****es me off, no-one knows the real
meaning of poverty any more. Poverty now seems to mean you can't
afford to buy a brand new car every year.

I do wonder what's going to happen to this country as more and more
people realise that they are better off on benefits and less and less
people bother to work.

however, you can hardly blame people for not working when you can be much
better off on the state. Mind, try being a single person with no kids, you
get eff-all then; especially if you live in the same house as a family
member, *even if you pay them rent*. such used to be the case, anyway.
bloody con.

poverty is just the one colour telly.

it'll go to the dogs. or rather, further to the dogs. The whole thing will
eventually fall apart cos the money doesn't add up.

But try explaining that to the BMW/Audi/VW/anything else with no
Britsh content who thinks they are supporting England (or Wales
or Scotland or NI for that matter) by spending £1.99 on an
(imported from China!) flag and sticking it on their car.....

Everyone should spend a couple of years living on an "Estate" as
I have had the pleasure of doing [1] - perhaps then they may realise
that jobs are far more than a number on a balance sheet or
the saving of a few quid on their latest toy.

I dont blame anybody for doing it. Im almost jealous in a way as i
havent worked out how to play it myself! Ideally the system should
make people who work for a living much better off than those who
don't.

Now, if only i could work out some way of getting back out the money
i'd put into it all!
