Hi all. I've just started my project to strip down and rebuild my 110 csw 300tdi onto a new galv chassis. Know it's a bit overkill but decided I'm gonna give it every chance to outlive me. I know I'll regret not doing it while I've got the chance even though it's a long and boring job Waxed the inside of the chassis this weekend and put the first coat of etch primer onto the outside. Am planning to build up as much of the chassis as I can with bits I'd replace anyway while I can before I take the truck off the road and strip her down. New brake pipes and fuel lines etc.

I bought the new chassis second hand so it's had a chance to weather nicely before I start. It also came with a set of reconditioned Salisbury axles as part of the deal. Id planned to fit the fronts but sell the rear as it is drum and I already have a Salisbury with discs. I'll probably put them on the for sale page at some point but as I'm fairly new here it seemed a bit cheeky to do that.
