Just joined today but have been reading the site for a while and would just like to say thanks for all the info...
Not much landrover experience, started with a new disco in 06, than a new RR sport in 08 so never did much with either, main dealer service etc. as I didn't want to invalidate the warranty, but then I bought a 02 freelander td4s for her nibs.........oh man.......:doh: so I've been getting down and dirty ever since, and not in the good way..........
Freelander came worth the money, needed a bit of work, never had to bring it to a garage, except for tracking, headlight adjustment etc. and passed the NCT a few weeks ago............
Couldn't have done it without all the info I got here so a big thanks to all!!!
No money to spare these days so I'm doing all the work on the RR myself now too, 2 sets of pads on the front and 1 rear set so far on the rear and picking up the filters etc. for the first home service tonight......
