Hi all can I say thanks to all who commented about my last post about having no clutch feel I finally got some pressure in system and got it moving!!!! First time in 15 years :D it turned out to be the lenght of the bar in the master cylinder was not out far enough and not engaging so I am one happy bunny ! But I now have a new prob now when I try to start it it won't turn over at alli can hear the fuel pump whirring away and the lights don't fade when trying to turn it over but it only clicks once any idea ?? The only thing I have done is remove the middle seat to tap the brake cable back as it was sticking on . Surerly I can't have done anything wrong by doing that ........ Could I

Have had this problem on my TD5 and it is usually the solenoid. (Tap with a hammer usually sorts it out temporarily!) Don't have any experience re a 2.25 petrol engine. No doubt those with the knowledge will help you out further.
