Hi folks,
I have an occasional soft thump, thump, thump from the front end.
Whats the best way to test the bushes and driveshafts and wheel bearings on a 2005 td4?
Should it be jacked up on axle stands or is it best on the floor/wheel ramps?
I assume the bushes droplinks etc will be fairly obvious if there is any play in them but how much sideways movement is ok on the drive shafts.
And just to be a pain should the vcu get hot after a motorway run?
regards, Mathew
