Hi Guys and Gals,

Looking for a bit of advice on a really strange issue. I have a LandRover Freelander 2, 2.2 TD4, 2007. I have never changed the terrain response option until last week when we had snow and used the Snow/Ice setting for a few days. Now the snow as gone I want to use general mode as i did before but everytime the ignition is switched on, it always goes back to Snow/Ice and I have to manually change it, According to the user manual, after 6hrs of the ignition off, general is automatically set back to default, but not in my case, I can leave the car for 2 days and it will still revert back to Snow/Ice when ignition turned on.

Any ideas and info would be gratefully received on what to do.

Cheers

Paul

Did yer solve the problem?
Does it still happen?
The Terrain Response should change back to General setting after the FL2 has been sat locked for 6 hours. If yer still has the same problem... when turning the dial to General mode, turn it an eggstra notch anti clockwise and see if that solves the problem.

Try locking and immobilising for more than 6 hours. That’s two presses of the key fob. Also check handbrake is on.

You are switching back to normal terrain mode before turning the engine off?
