I would appreciate some assistance.

My Defender C130 1995 Tdi 300 occasionally stops due to the fuel supply.
I drain the water separators neat the fuel tank as well as the fuel filter in the engine compartment.
The glide on plastic clip connection for the fuel stop solenoid has been cleaned and refitted. It then will restart. It may be a loose contact!

I have noted some diesel fuel is coming from the vicinity of the injector pump. Could this be my problem? I have just noted there is a small amount of diesel on the ground. I will place a tray under the area to establish the volume.

I have never removed the water separator in the vicinity of the fuel tank. Have to do this. What parts would I need to reassemble?

Thank you in advance.

It’s called a sedimenter with two O rings, unbolt from the top and drop both the cylinders,
No filter it’s just a sediment and moisture trap, give it a clean and refit with new O rings

Is there gauze in the sediment trap?
When removed will fuel bleed from its mounting plate?
Due to their size, I would expect the O rings would not be stocked by most auto shops. Hence an OEM or generic.

No gauze just a plastic umbrella at the top that allows water/Dirt to sink to the bottom stopping it going onto the fuel filter, both O rings available from EBay or any Land Rover stockist/ independent,
Yes you will loose some fuel but not a lot, don’t have a full tank,
