This belonged to a good friend who died very suddenly just before Christmas. So posting on behalf of his wife.
Don’t know a huge amount about its history but it has lain there for a number of years (over 5 if memory serves)
It was bought with the intention of doing up and using (why he never sold me those 2nd row doors ) but sadly, as with many of us, it was a project he never did manage to get round to.
I know it was running and driving on arrival but after this time engine would need to be recommissioned in any case.
Apologies for the dodgy videos, Tarantino has no need to worry!!!

If it wants a password def123 should do it.

The interior as you can see has been devoted to being a shed/storage area but will be clearned out just shortly. Has correct county seats which appear to be in good order but waiting for better look once its cleared.
There’s a fair amount of saveable bodywork but as you’ll see the door pillars are dodgy:D
Underneath is the bonus point!!
Chassis is lovely as per video.
I believe I’ve managed to show all the main issues in the videos but will arrange to get extra pics if anyone wants to see something specific.
I’ve not put a price on this as, while I’ve an idea what its worth, I’ve never put a value on a resto before.
Be grateful if any questions/enquiries come through me in the first instance as his wife doesnt want to be hassled with calls and questions.
Landy is about 2 1/2hours away from me in Aberdeenshire but can arrange for viewing with a little notice.
Given the circumstances please no time wasters.

Sorry to hear about your mate’s passing.
LandyZone’s mods are diligently trying to work the ongoing issue of not being able to upload pics or vids to the forum.

Thanks for that. Yeah, a sudden death of a very fit 60 year old bring the frailty of life home to you.
As for the videos, I’ll see if I can work out how to grab some stills out of them but can email them to anyone who might be interested in them.

Is there any figure in mind ? the body looks past it but the relatively low miles could make it worthy of a donor .. if the rolling chassis was good and someone wanted that and the V5 I could be interested in the engine and gearbox .. providing the engine wasn't seized with sitting on the coast . I'm just down by Forfar .. could maybe divvy up with a few folk to break it ..

Was the chassis galvanised at one time ? hard to tell in the video , it has some areas that look like galv but the salt on the coast has taken its toll ..

Looks like full galvanised chassis to me. There are a few bits showing some surface rust on them but whole thing seems solid to me. Interior all been cleared now and all seats are good. will try and get photos of them up too.
Genuinely not sure of a price but been offered £2k by someone so far.
Hope this helps.

It looks very much like it’s spent its life on the coast from the rust. But with a galvanised chassis and V5, it’s worth more than £2k in the current climate given the demand for landies.

Those were my thoughts too @Knappster but wanting to get it away sooner rather than later so may have to go for a low offer yet sadly.
Wish I could afford it, and the time, for myself but that’s life eh!!

is the low offer the £2k that's been offered already or is there scope for a really low offer .. I can pass it around folk that arent on here and might not otherwise know its on the market .. I have a buddy near StCyrus that might be interested ..

The £2000 is the low offer at the moment.
I'm just trying to get the best price I can for his widow so wouldn't accept any less.
If there's no further interest from anyone here in a few days I'll just go ahead and accept accept it.
Thanks..

The chassis alone is worth more, especially with a V5. On the original chassis you’d be on target for £2k. Have you tried eBay or FB marketplace?

Thought this was done and dusted but sadly been let down by a time wasting scumbag who decided that in the end he only wanted parts.
This is not a parts advert its for the whole landy which will obviously need trailered away.
Could anyone who might still be interested please pm me.
Thank you,
