What a week, first I have drama's with my P38DSE and now the Disco is giving me grief.....I can't get 5th gear it just baulks....I can feel the gear trying to go 'in' but with no joy...no crunching she just won't have it
It's not the plate that carries the centering springs, although the upright tin part was broken, even with the spring assembly off I still can't 5th gear....if I move the stick into where 5th is I just get a click from inside the box when trying to get it 'in and out'....this maybe the device to stop me going from 5th to reverse?
Any ideas guy's, or time for a new box...I'm thinking the 5th syncro has broken but I'm guessing here, she is model year '94 L plate with reverse below 5th gear.
