That's a different breather, if you look down the back of your engine you will see the hard plastic pipes with a 180 degree bend, the one with the filter is a floppy one

One of my very first posts way back when i was in short trousers / dresses was 'what does this pipe do' ? It was the front diff breather on mine which is a in slightly different spot on the M62.
