TD5 Start Up Noise

Hi Guys

First of all a big hello to all members using this forum, early impressions it looks very good and you are obviously all experianced....

Anyway i have just brought a 52 Discovery Series 2 TD5 and everytime i start the engine i have a noise like a gear box crunch that lasts for a split second.

Any ideas on what it can be and is it normal... ?

its the ABS self test... put your foot on the brake pedal next time and feel the love...
