Hey guys,

looking for some advice

I have SRS light and no horn, double checked under seat connections and ordered a second hand rotary clock (30 days warranty)

striped the steering down
Fitted the new rotary clock
SRS light gone
Horn works

but I know have an annoying ticking when I turn the steering wheel?

had a look on the old one and there is like a little spring loaded lock pin at the bottom of the circle.

I have stripped it back down and refitted again making sure everything is in the right place but still annoying ticking noise

Have I refitted incorrectly? Any words of wisdom?

thanjs

Well more of an update

after about 45 mins driving the SRS light is back on and horns not working!

taken down to my local garage and they quickly dropped the diagnostics on and the error is open circuit drivers side air bag??

he didn’t have any more time other than to do that for me...

many ideas? Dodgy connection?

Had another look today..

the clicking/ticking was caused by the housing and storks for indicator and lights not quite being in the right position.

there is a large posi drive screw that you can undo and then the whole assembly sits on a tapered shaft and u have to give the screw it’s self a tab to move its position, difficult to explain but that’s my best effort lol!

put it all back together and all good, driven the disco for an hour this morning and the SRS light has returned!! But the horns still work?!
