Hi all,
I have a 2002 Defender 110 TD5 Manual Pick up, that gives hassles while starting in the morning. ( rough runnung, missing, lots of white smoke)
Until it warms up, then no hassles.
I suspect the cam timing is a bit off, as I have made some adjustments to the top sprocket. It made a huge difference, start reasonably easilly, no excessive white smoke, only a slight miss) probably due to engine still cold.
i now want to check the Timing properly, to make sure it is correct, Without haveing to remove the front bottom cover to check the TDC mark on the bottom sprocket.
Is there a mark on the flywheel? where can I see this?
Any other suggestions on doing this?
thx
