TD5 engine types

im a little confused as my logbook for my 2002 td5 auto gs says 16p?? are they same injectors as the 15p engine ,,

later engines use the green top injectors, early (10p) engines use the black top ones apparently early engine will run with green injectors but the later engine wont like black injectors

Thanks for clearing this up john ..i assume id also need the new injector codes adding

the codes are stamped on each individual injector, and they need inputting to the ecu, with the correct code corresponding with the correct cylinder,
i have a hawkeye for this but dont know how your diagnostic reader does it

many thanks john , nice info and help,, as ive just sold my 51 td5 es with 140k to buy a 2002 facelift gs with 88k very cheep with either headgasket,injector, injector oils or a cracked head ,,as one forium member advised these get stolen ie headlights and vechical looks like its a repair and resell gutted

I couldn't resist posting, apparantly my engine is 11p , 2003 td5.
