just fitted new injector loom due to missfire, it was full of oil.
I thought what a crap idea to put loom in rocker box. But hang on oil dont conduct electricty,so why the problem?
Moore thought going in, when oil has done some serious miles it gets loaded with Carbon, which is a very good conductor, and would cause terminals to short and burn (if you look close)
so would regular oil changes solve the problem? i do mine every 4500 miles not cheap, trouble is when i got motor it was black probably done every 12000 or so.
only time and miles will tell.
