Td5 fuel pressure regulator leaking from tell tale hole. the book suggests it maintains 4 bar to injectors, why does it leak fuel ? it certainly makes a mess.The cost of replacement is approaching £200! or is there another way of repairing the regulator

I Had the same problem and bought a Fuel Pressure Regulator Gasket Rebuild kit from e bay for £20.90 Problem Solved. Think it was the seals on the Regulator leaking fuel i'm no landy expert but this solved my problem

I guess you answered your own question - 4 bar with any dodgy seal is sure going to leak...! ;-). Not a difficult job - I bit the bullet and went for the full part...... Worth being squeaky clean around the pipes and seals when swapping otherwise bit of grit may start you all over again..... Good luck, A
