Saw F1BRE once whilst driving from Wittering to Leicester, on a ferrari
something-or-other, thought it quite apt for summat made of fibres and
resin! Hey, maybe the rich **** had another at home with RES1N........?

I didn't think many Ferraris were made of fibreglass, just one or two
models and not even for their whole model run. I don't know about
modern ferraris as I don't have much interest in them.

As for "rich ****", generally you'd have to be a bit odd to buy a fezz
as there's much better cars to be had for much less money, but
considering you can get a running fezz for £10,000 and up these days
there's plenty of people in here who could afford several! A new
Range Rover would cost the same as a second-hand good-condition decent
spec fezzer.

I knew a chap once who had 5 Ferrari engines.. Not Ferrari cars, just
the engines! Never figured out why. They are nice to look at, but
considering that's all you can do with them, it seemed a bit odd.
Kept them in a shed covered in oil rags, never did anything with
them.

This was a modern-looking thing, similar to an F40 in style I think, but
then I couldn't tell you one from another - they do nothing for me I'm
afraid. What's the point of all that bhp at that high an rpm, better to have
torque low down, I say! ;-)

Ok, point taken. I was working on the assumption that it was worth around
£100k+ or somesuch area, seein' as it looked pretty new to me. Never had the
inclination to go into a ferrari dealers and ask the prices, seein' as there
ain't any in Morayshire anyway. LOL.

Hmmmmm.... re-cam for torque and fit to a 110..... where's he live? Second
thoughts, each one's probably worth a lot more than my 110!

Yeah like a nice big Chevvy V8 in a small spaceframe chassis, say, for
example, an Ultima GTR, a car that I try to work into every
conversation where possible, apart from those with bank managers..
Almost worth selling the house for, if it didn't belong to Northern Rock.

£65K will get you a high-spec modern-ish one that's done less than 10K
miles, but it would also get you a Fraser-Nash open-wheeled vintage
racer, and I know which is more fun! Can't afford either unfortunately..

You could weld the cranks together on two of them and make a V24 hehehe...

If you could get away with it, selling a house that belongs to someone else
would be an excellent plan.
