Td4 problem?

Hi,

I've had my Freelander TD4 since new, Its a 03 plate with 59,000 on clock. Ive just noticed when I reach 4100 rpm in each gear there is no power? Is there a limiter on each gear stopping me from going into the red zone or do I have a problem?
Anyone help?

Check the intercooler pipes for splits or porosity. They are on top front long rubber one and more usually right angled one on right side of engine front
