Can anyone help?
I need to change the boost pipe that joins the Turbo to the steel pipe that runs along the back of the engine on my 2003 Freelander TD4.
I have been to my local LandRover dealer, and they are pretty useless.
The pipe I need is a single 90 degree pipe. The one showing on their system is totally different.
I am sure I am losing boost from this pipe, as it looks as though some one has trimmed it shorter in the past as you have to stretch it when you tighten the jubilee clips to try to get a seal.There is also a small tear in it through half of its thickness that will only get worse if it isn't done soon.
The pipe is approx 40mm bore one end that fits onto the Turbo itself, and I guess about 65mm the other where it goes over the steel pipe.It is literally a single bend. Measurements are rough from memory when I took it off a week ago.I haven't taken exact measurements.
