Hello everyone, a few months ago the alarm on my Freelander was deactivated, and since then I have noticed that I cannot lower or raise the tailgate window. I have read that the CCU might be preventing it. I would like to fix it so that the tailgate window can be operated by the switch, without the alarm.
If anyone has done this before, could you please explain how it’s done, or if anyone knows? Many thanks to everyone!

Does it still drop when you open the door and raise when you close it?
My car electrician rolled the window down just enough so that the trunk can always be opened. So, the window doesn’t go up or down, it stays lowered by a few centimeters in the same level even when it is opened and when it is closed
