tailgate window mechanism - where did you get yours from

hi all, rear window on my 5 door is stuck at the top, the cables have snapped.

just wondering if this has happened to yours and if so where did you get the parts from. given how akward it looks to replace i would rather fit a part thats going to last.

I recently bought the car, and it has a few problems but I got it for a reasonable price knowing that it had faults. it will be my fourth freelander, i just wanted something for occasional towing and for my work. none of the others had the window problem.

the previous owner has had the ird and vcu replaced by a garage and i have the receipt and a short guarantee is still left on them.

its a sport model and i will probably change the wheels for 16 or 17 inch ones with some m+s tyres for winter.

it has a service history, but i will change the filters and oil when i get time.

i purchased oem one with a 20% discount, my freelander had so little spent on it apart from service items it deserved it.

Fitted one of these 18 months ago.Seemed exactly the same quality as the original it replaced.
Delivered next day.
