Here's a fix that might help those with a tailgate window problem (stuck up/down) if you've tried all the recalibtration procedures to no avail.
Mine was stuck in the up position. My wife open the tailgate with window still up (if I'd of done this the glass would have shattered !!) so was able to remove the rear door trim easily. With the door unopened i guess removal of the trim to be a bit of pig.
Disconnect the Battery
Remove the water shredder (plastic sheet) to get at the gubbins inside.
With an appropriate torx bit, remove the four screws holding the silver domed housing covering the regulator motor ( a little awkward as it's behind the metal frame in about the centre of the door) - access via the right side. It's quite awkward to remove the housing after the screws are removed due to the magnetism. Be careful not to damage the seal.
My window was stuck up so I turned the Armature of the motor manually by hand (not pliers) a few turns anticlockwise so if yours is stuck down turn clockwise.
Put the cover back on with a couple of the torx screws and connect the battery. The window then went down. If it doesn't go down right away try using the switch. If it works put the rest of the screws back in, if not turn the Armature a couple of more turns and repeat.
After this I was able to go through the calibration procedure and is so far still working although I expect I'll have to invest in a new regulator soon.:D

I would have thought with the window jammed up the windscreen would have shattered if the tailgate was opened.

Moral of the story: Get a female to open it :D

It's now been a while since I did this and unbelievably it's still working without any problems despite having been up and down more times than a cheap hookers knickers.
So, if you've checked all your earths and relays etc give it a go. :D

Even though your post Carlosfandango1st was potential fix it was right on the money Thanks.
