If you remember my other thread where I had a wheel bearing changed in Russia and then had traction control failure fault show up and I thought it was the sensor that had been disturbed but on inspection of the sensor althopugh it had been damaged it was still showing voltage when wheel was spun.
Nanacom showed brake switch fault so I removed the brake light switch and checked it for operation with a ohm meter and it seemed ok so I refitted it and then noticed that the brake lights were on all the time sxo looked for adjustment on the switch.
After a lot of looking and playing with the switch I found that the plunger could be extended by pulling it out and it seemed to have a rachet system on it so I refitted it fully extended while holding down the brake pedal and then let the pedal push it in as far as it wanted to and that is the adjustment.
It cured the T/C and ABS failure fault and now I have done at least 700 miles since then over very ordinary roads and havnt had any problem with it and also the traction control works as I went through some very slippery mud.
Now I have another problem but will start a new thread for it.
