Wanted to change the oil in my swivel pins (93 Discovery) and found on one that nothing and I mean nothing came out of drain, tried probing woth wire ect and still nothing except some grubby looking grease on the wire. Tried topping up (EP90) and it just came straight out of level hole, knowing you should never assume anything with previous mechanics ect can I 'guess' that this is probably the 'one shot' grease I have read about? I thought it was only used in later models, I have owned the vehicle for about 9 months and covered a lot of kilometeres with no clunks or other noises to be concerned about.

regards

Dave

The pukka one shot grease from Paddocks is quite runny and I would expect some to slowly drip out of the drain hole, CV joint grease isn't as runny so I wouldn't expect it to drain out.
