Can anyone help,i have a swivel joint filler plug that is solid on and is starting to round off,it's the nearside one, anyone had this problem and has anyone used any other tool bar a spanner to get them off ?

TAP TAP TAP with a 4 ounce pin hammer about 200 times to crack the rust.
Many LIGHT blows .... no heavy hammers.

Once you get it out, make sure of clearances and see if you can get a hex nut welded good-oh onto the plugtop.

Before you put it back, wrap two or three full turns of plumber's PTFE tape around the threads, and don't make it too tight - it isn't structural - it is only filling a hole.
