Superwinch??

I've just been given a superwinch motor and gearbox new. Still in the box. I think was spare for a recovery truck but can I make use of it?

Motor - 12v dc
Gearbox - 03703

On the box
truck windlass
6011 12v dc

Ive since found out that its a 'sheet motor for a tipper'
I'll call/email superwinch at some point and see if i can get some proper details from them soon
