Does physical inspection not reveal? Common sense suggests that they will stick out under the vehicle, so as not to run water into any sensitive areas.
As per the old posts, they don't protrude from outside the vehicle, but you have to look for an obtuse hole behind a cross-member underneath. That is why I was looking to have the info on where it is behind the kick panel, to know where to go digging.

That is insane. No other vehicle maker would have a tube that ran water into the bodywork!

What to say. You either love them or hate them, warts and all.

Not me. I am pretty much indifferent to them, as I have no intention of owning another.
I do a bit of stuff on my wife's Series, though, I like the classics.

I had a Disco 2, but the sun roofs had been bedded in Sikaflex long ago, so drainage wasn't an issue. I only paid £1200 for it, and used it for towing my cattle trailer, so that was a result as far as I was concerned.
