Stuck......

Afternoon.......the fuel soleniod on my S3{fitted with 2.5ldv}gave up yesterday and now won't start.Is there away i can by-pass it just to get me mobile? I only need to use it to get me to the garage to fix.....Bad day yesterday,sold my P38 and then this happens....picking up new car Wednsday and now have no other means of transport........oh well....**** HAPPENS..ADA

if the solenoid is the part i think you are talking about you may be able to remove it and bung the hole up with a short bolt. just a thought but don't blame me if you can't switch if off till yer tank is dry.

if you have access to a spare one you might be able to bust the end off it and hold it in place with mole grips or the like, then to stop the ferker just release said mole grips. replacviong with the good one after. i take it you have checked it's not an electricle fault??
