Stuck seat belts

Hi all, just had my delivery of seat belts arrive that i won off eBay, problem is all the seat belt reals seem to be locked, I can clearly see the locking bar sliding down when I try to pull open the belts. Any suggestions on what this could be?

Take it you have them bolted in place? They will only release when bolted solid vertically.

Hi, I haven't yet fitted them so thanks for the advise, I will be posting a thread asking if anyone has any pics on seat belts in a truck cab to help me out

I fell foul of the same thing myself. Opened the box and the first thing I did was try to pull them out to no avail. I then tested holding in a 'fitted' type position and all was suddenly fine.

I've found that sometimes the seatbelts get jammed when taken off the car because too much belt gets wound on the roll.

Try to unjam it, fix it to your landy then see if any better

Just removed my cab for summer so can't help with the pics but I had the inertias bolted to the bulkhead and the shoulder mounts bolted straight through the hole at the top of the cab. I was never happy with it tbh but at least it looked like I was belted in safely

Think you can get proper mounts but the ones for the hard tops don't fit.
