I was doing some diagnostic with my meter to find out when my battery went flat last week. Only done it once in the last few months and I can't pin point to whats wrong.
Today I started the car up but it feels like the battery is a bit low, it has been sitting idle for 3 weeks. It started on second turn and only after I turn and took key out, lock car , unlock and turn key again then it starts.
After a few hours drive I tested the voltage across the battery and it reads 12.95V, almost all other engine earth points it shows 12.95V or 12.94V but wait for this.....
Battery positive terminal and water radiator shows 13.5V
Where is the extra voltage came from??? higher than the battery itself?
I tried a few times with different area of the radiator but same result , Confused.
