I have a 1999 Range Rover DSE with a burnt out clutch and trying to source parts for it .
The problem is I am in Mongolia andf trying to deal with parts suppliers and they said they need a gearbox number starting with 1043.
I found one 1043 401 909 and they say this is incorrect and will not even quote me for parts.
Do you know what the gearbox is and the part No need.
I need a rebuild kit including the clutches and sprags and gaskets and seals.
I will also replace the torque converter and 1 MV5 soleniod.
The box is the 4 solinoid one.
If you could give me the names of some suppliers that would send the parts to Mongolia I would be most gratefull.
The parts need to be sent by DHL couriers.
This is getting urgent as my visa is running out and cannot extend it for a second time. and will have to import the car here if its not going or put it in a container and return to the UK.
thank you

Best bet would be to contact Ashcroft Transmissions and have an exchange re-con unit shipped out complete.
The box is a ZF4HP22e, the numbers are, if I remember correctly, up on the nearside.
Unless you want loads of SPAM, I would remove your email address.
