Hi all,

last Autumn I lined the inside of my roof with sound deadening on a roll. The type that is aluminium foil (thickish) on one side and some sort of bitumen on the other. This has stayed up fine. However, where I taped over the seams with what I thought was sticky aluminium tape in the heat, the tape is falling down leaving chewing gum like stickiness.

Any advice on a what tape to use as I used this from Amazon - thanks

also when you put closed cell foam overt the top are you relying on just the double sided tape on it or are you contact adhesiving as well? thanks

I used same tape in my loft over celotex panel joints, and it has done the same as yours, droopy drawers!
