Hi all, I've searched through all the threads with "clutch problem" in the title but to no avail - and there are a LOT of them! :) The problem I am having is that my clutch pedal has recently become a bit sticky. It doesn't happen all the time but is becoming more frequent. Now, to describe this precisely, when I depress the clutch, it feels for all the world like it's a cable-operated one and that some of the cable has become frayed and is about to snap. It's *that* kind of stickiness. In fact I was momentarily convinced it *was* a cable-operated clutch that had become frayed; it felt *so* much like that. But I see in my manual they're all fluid/hydraulic types. So what can the cause of this issue be? Thanks!

Check the condition of the clutch pedal return spring, which is located on the pivot in the cylinder housing box.
