P38A Sticking boot lock

Hi all I have had an on and off problem with the boot failing to unlock from time to time,this morning it wasnt playing at all so time to fix it. got in through inside as described on the other threads but could find no faults.and if I earthed either of the terminals on the button nothing happened after about the 20th time it worked and I managed to get it open. Stripped the button and checked the microswitch all tested good wires checked again all good. removed solenoid and nothing but i dropped it and it worked so something was amiss in the solenoid.Stripped it and eventually found that the motor picks is feed from 2 tiny lugs under the motor and this was where the trouble lay, I cleaned the contacts and bent them outwards slightly to improve the contact.all seems good now.If you have this problem it may be worth checking the contacts.
