Stereo steering wheel controls

Does anyone know which pins connect to the steering wheel controls?

I have an Autoleads ISO connector for a Vauxhall Astra Mk4 & I have the Pioneer lead to connect the steering wheel controls but when I plug it into my Freelander the controls don't work.
Everything else works fine, which tells me that Vauxhall must use different pins on the ISO connector to control their steering wheel buttons. Does anyone know which ones these are so that I can swap the pins in the Vauxhall ISO lead so I can control my pioneer head unit from the steering wheel?

You need a car specific kit for the original stereo and also for the pioneer HU. It might be that you only need a patch lead.

I was only able to get a Becker/Harmon Kardon specific lead from here: http://incartec.co.uk/landrover/1512/1033/2047/radio/Browser.aspx. As this is different to the non Becker HU's which are more plentiful.

So it all depends on what your original HU was.

We don't know what car the op has, or I can't tell from my iPad anyway, so if the OP has a Becker unit, then he needs to use my link, but if he has any other HU, then use spacemonkey's link.

How can I tell if my original head units was a HU?
The one I took out is now in the loft in Seaford, I'm in Lyndhurst for another week so can't take a photo yet.
It was a Land Rover radio/tape player, no cd changer.
