Just Fitted Range Rover Sport Wheels To My P38 Range Rover
Know Have Bad Shacking At 50 Milese Per Hour , Any Advice

It could be that they need balancing on the actual vehicle, a mate of mine had the same problem on his XR4x4.
Does the problem only happen around 50? I.e. does it smooth out above and below, if so that is more than likely balancing, but it still might be to check other things like bushes, bearings, etc. the bigger (?) wheels may have highlighted a problem that was already in the making.

Hi
Just to add,i had the exact same problem with my 22's...I appreciate they are not the same wheels but were made for the later Range and not my P38...
Theres about 1mm difference in the hub size that dosent stop you fitting them on but i did require the rings from Ebay which (although i found hard to believe it would ) did stopped all vibration totally...

Boydonegood, did you have to change the wheel nuts as well, I'm sure I remember this mentioned previously.

Yeah!
My original P38 wheel nuts didnt fit the wheels at all..Had to get the later L322 ( £40 ) wheel nuts...I think standard 19mm wheel nuts would have done though..
But as i say mine were aftermarket wheels made for the L322 not genuine L322 wheels..

Hi ,I am experiencing the same problem after having fitted 20 inch sports and new tyres,ie steering wobble at about 40 and up have you managed to sort it as I am interested so I can sort it out . regards JMAC

you need hub centric rings- you can get them off ebay seller sixonetwo about £20. I just purchased a kit 04 for 19" LR wheels , oh and one more thing you will need a new wrench too 22mm!.
