Hello
I have a 1999 50th Anniversary Freelander, I have taken the original badly worn leather steering wheel off and replaced with a new wood steering wheel with additional radio controls. Unfortunately with the new wheel the horn or the radio controls don't work.
I was under the impression that I just had to swap wheels over and plug in the connector.
Any ideas?

The pins in the connector must be different (ie the arrangement of wires).

I have a 1998 model and fitted a 2006 steering wheel. I had to unclip the wire from its holder (connector) and refit into a spare as on the earlier wheel.

Regards,

Steve.
