Steering wheel adaptor?

Does anyone know if it's possible to get an adaptor sleeve or something to allow a wire spoked S1-S2 steering wheel to be used on a S3 steering column.
I've got another method in mind but it's a tricky job and an adaptor would be easier.

I'm interested how to do this ! (Have no thoughts on how though sorry)

Mmm. I don't think an adaptor exists.
The boss on the early wheel is all alloy whereas the later wheel has a tapered and splined steel bush about 1 1/4 " by 1 1/2" with three steel spokes and a steel rim welded on and this framework is all encased in a hard bakelite type plastic, now, if you break or burn off the plastic and cut off the steel spokes from a scrap S3 wheel, you're left with this bush thing. I was thinking - get someone with a bench press to drill out the original centre of the S2 wheel, press in the S3 bush and secure it with either a pre-cut keyway or grub screws.
Might be a bit wonky but hey, it's a Landrover.
