Starting problem

Hi, I've got a td4 54reg which I've just had a clutch and flywheel put in.... And since fitting now and again it won't start.... The starter spins like it's not touching the flywheel.... Give it a couple of goes then it starts.... Most of the time it's fine starts first time.... I've had the starter replaced and still does it anyone got and ideas.... Cheers
