take the starter off the engine, and soak the gear in diesel, or petrol, or some form of dismantling fluid

don't just randomly undue things, it'll explain in those manuals I sent you links to yesterday

It had a wire off but can't seem to find where it came off, it was one of the two smaller wires?

Should be one thick wire from solenoid to starter, two thick wires on solenoid plus four thinner ones.

If you don't have a separate solenoid it means you've got a pre engage starter like the diesels have. There should be a thick wire from the battery plus four other thinner wires.

Hi thanks for replying, I sorted it out by putting the wire to the chassis , it seems to be sorted now! Cheers
