As you'll see from my earlier post I'm lifting the TD5 engine from my Discovery. Now does anyone know if I need to remove the starter motor? According to Mr Hayes it does have to be done on an automatic, to gain access to the drive plate bolts but do I need to do it on my manual? Looks like a real pig of a job!
